Our Founders
Meet Richard and Maude Ferry. Blessed with a love story that began in high school, they have truly lived the American Dream. Starting from humble beginnings in Ohio, they embarked on a rewarding journey together.
Richard co-founded Korn Ferry International and built it into a global leader, while providing for his beloved family. Always by his side, Maude was an extraordinary and loving wife, mother of six, and an integral partner in his global business pursuits. Throughout their 65-year marriage, their faith and commitment to community remained strong, with a focus on Catholic charities, education, and healthcare.
In 2013, their journey took an unexpected turn when Maude was diagnosed with dementia. Richard assumed the role of full-time caregiver with an unwavering determination to promote a rich quality of life for his wife. Through their experiences, Richard and his family recognized the need for better care and support for those living with dementia.
Maude’s Ventures emerged from Richard’s experience caring for his wife. Witnessing his wife Maude’s struggle with dementia, he searched for better ways to bring comfort and engagement to her life. Now, Maude’s Ventures extends that same care to others, offering hope and support to the dementia community, their families and care partners until a cure is found.
